St. Louis, Missouri

Traveling across the United States is a goal I am currently working on. I recently traveled through Missouri. An amazing city to visit is the one and only – St. Louis. It has a historic feel that meets a new age of diversity. Whether you are looking for a weekend getaway or a week long escape, try St. Louis and you won’t be disappointed!

Need a place to stay? Moonrise Hotel is a five minute walk from the MetroLink in beautiful St. Louis. It is a lunar-themed hotel is in the Delmar Loop district next to The Pageant concert hall. It is unlike any hotel you’ve every stayed in! And there is also a rooftop terrace…need I say more?

I LOVE pizza. Most would say to get the best pizza you have to be in New York or Chicago. I know it sounds a little crazy but if you are looking for great pizza, look no further than Onesto Pizza! Located in Princeton Heights, this awesome pizza stop supports local farmers by using local and organic ingredients. Get a little healthy in your pizza.  (I recommend The Mad Cajun!)

Looking for an experience of a lifetime? Take a , one-hour journey back in time to when steamboats ruled the Mississippi River. Narrated by the captain or a National Park Service Ranger, this cruise highlights the history of St. Louis and how the river is used today. History has always been a passion of mine. Learning about how things used to be is similar to discovering new adventures. So if you’re feeling adventurous or nostalgic, check out a riverboat cruise.

What is a trip to anywhere without tourist attractions? Check out Ellis Island. Take tours of The Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island to feel an incredible sense of United States History. The most magnificent and culturally resonating sights I have ever seen is the book  signed by immigrants that came to a new world looking for opportunity and all signed into their new lives. It truly is amazing!
